Fosfree G is a phosphate free acidic bottlewashing liquid detergent additive containing a blend of sequestrants and surfactant based defoamers.

Inhibits scale build up and prevents nozzle blockage, improving operational efficiency and effectiveness. Maintenance frequency, time and associated costs can also be reduced. Enhances detergency and label removal, ensuring effective cleaning and giving reduced reject rates. Aids free rinsing, reducing caustic carryover and the risk of carbonate blooming. Provides effective foam control, assisting label extraction, reducing the risk of pump cavitation, ensuring measurement probes work efficiently and minimising caustic carry-over. Suitable for use where there are effluent charges or restrictions on the use phosphates, reducing discharge costs and environmental impact.

Fosfree G should be dosed into the caustic section of the bottlewasher at sufficient levels to maintain 0.2-0.4% w/w (0.19-0.37% v/v), depending on soil loading. Optimal foam control is obtained at temperatures above 45˚C. Fosfree G should be injected directly into the caustic solution prior to the suction side of the re-circulating pump. Acid stable materials must be used prior to product neutralisation by caustic. All detergents and disinfectants should be thoroughly rinsed after use to remove them from all food and beverage contact surfaces.
